Interesting. I’m hesitant to say I completely agree with him, but he makes some great points. If God is truly and completely sovereign, and we are seeking to follow and glorify Him, then He doesn’t really “need” to dictate every single decision we make. His post also made me think about the two wills of God and how that comes to play in the everyday life of Believers.
I just wish he would have talked more about God’s power to intervene or discipline us when we exercise our decision-making rights! Ha.
“Meanwhile, little people like you and me, if our prayers are sometimes granted, beyond all hope and probability, had better not draw hasty conclusions to our own advantage. If we were stronger, we might be less tenderly treated. If we were braver, we might be sent, with far less help, to defend far more desperate posts in the great battle.” by C.S. Lewis The Efficacy of Prayer

I don’t necessarily completely agree with him, either. He didn’t make the best arguments, but he does raise some good points, I think.
